Excellent pictures may be taken at any time but for best results between the 29 and 34 weeks.
The gender of your baby can be determined at 14.5 weeks or later. Depending on the cooperation of your baby, we are able to capture your babys' gender.

Ultrasound has over thirty years worth of extensive studies to prove it is perfectly safe. It is simply sound waves that bounce back to render the image.
Drink plenty of water for a week before your ultrasound appointment. The day of your appointment you will need to drink 32 oz of water and or juice, It's a good idea to have something high in sugar (we recommend orange juice) to help with the movement of the baby if they are sleepy(unless you are told not to by your physician). It is important to have a full bladder at your Gender Determination appointment.
We don’t not contact your doctor prior to the scan since this is an elective procedure. We do require however that you currently are under prenatal care. Ultra-sonographers do not make a diagnosis in general but are mandated to report any found issues.
Depending on the ultrasound package that you select, your session will last between 15 and 30 minutes. However, plan on spending up to an hour at our studio so that we can send you home with memories to last a life time. It is best to arrive a few minutes early to fill out our paperwork.
3D is a still image while 4D adds the dimension of motion so it looks like a video.
If you are more than 15 minutes your appointment will be cancled and you will loose your deposit. Under 15 min late will result in a shorten scan time. Thank you for your understanding.
3D is a still image and 4D is capturing the baby’s movement. HD LIVE technology has a new rendering software that allows a more realistic view of the fetus by changing the way the ultrasound renders the 4D image.
